A: My uncle, the only person in our big family at his generation going to college, for his devotion to the big family, for his thankfulness to people whoever supported him throughout his life, and for his dignity.
Q: What are you most proud of professionally?
A: I am proud of being both the co-inventors and the team members for the development of two substrate reduction therapies for the treatment of lysosomal storage diseases, Cerdelga® approved for the treatment of Gaucher Disease Type 1, and Venglustat (currently in Phase 3 clinical trials for both Gaucher Disease Type 3 and Fabry Disease).
