A: I did the Sydney Harbor Bridge Climb to overcome my fear of heights

Q: What would you consider to be a perfect day? 

A: Sitting on the beach reading a good book

A: I lived in Puerto Rico for 2.5 years.

Q: Where do you find the most meaning in your life?

A: Observing and listening to nature, to try to understand how it all works together.

Q: What are you most passionate about in your work? Outside of work?

A: Sustainability.

Q: What items are on your bucket list?

A: Climb Mt. Kilimanjaro. And, I am! As part of the Fred Hutch Climb to Fight Cancer in 2023, I’ll be journeying to the summit to raise money for cancer research.

Q: Give us a random fun fact about yourself.

A: I have no sense of direction. Wish me luck on the climb!

Q: What was your childhood ambition?

A: To be a doctor and to help people that didn’t have access to the medicine they needed.

Q: What made you want to join Be Bio?

A: To enable previously impossible chapters in people’s lives. Once I understood the extraordinary power and utility of B cells in fighting disease and maintaining health, I had an urgency to be part of the journey to get these potential medicines to people who need them.

Q: What items are on your bucket list?

A: Solo trip, skydiving and bungee jumping.

A: Hot chocolate fudge brownie with vanilla ice-cream on top
